Blue Badge Scheme. Information on disabled persons' parking.
The Blue Badge Scheme provides parking concessions nationally for people with a disability, whether that person is the driver or a passenger. Disabled or blind people, including children over the age of 2, can use the scheme by displaying a Blue Badge in the vehicle they are using. The holder of a Blue Badge is permitted to park in areas normally subject to restrictions to assist them to access healthcare, shops and other facilities.
