Partners in Play provide a range of services to ensure that children and young people with disabilities can have access to the same recreational opportunities as their peers. Hope for Autism maintains specialist services for young people with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder and those who care for them within North Lanarkshire. They encourage a better understanding of the condition through providing group sessions, support groups and a Befrienders project. The Dalziel Centre is a day Hospice for patients with cancer in Lanarkshire. The centre offers emotional, psychological and social support to patients, carers and families.
