Our membership is open to the ex-service community and their dependants, those still serving and all those who support the aims and objectives of the organisation.

Blind Veterans UK helps ex-service men and women rebuild their lives after they have lost their sight. They provide rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support to thousands of blind veterans.

DMWS is an expert in the provision of Medical Welfare and supports the Armed Forces community when receiving medical treatment.

They work in partnership with other organisations who deliver services to older veterans living in Scotland.

Erskine provides support to veterans and Scotland, through four care homes and a Veterans village. They offer dedicated care, compassion and understanding to residents and their families.

Erskine care for nearly 1000 residents each year and their care homes provide veterans with the companionship of like-minded people.

Lanarkshire Firm Base was created in partnership with North and South Lanarkshire Council’s following a request by the Royal Regiment of Scotland for an Armed Forces Covenant to be established.

The organisation is the lead for delivering the key commitments contained in both councils’ Armed Forces Community Covenants to ensure that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.

Sight Scotland Veterans give free support to ex-service men and women, no matter if they lost their sight during or after service.

The support provided includes rehabilitation and training to adapt to sight loss, home modifications, grants for equipment to assist with independent living and much more.

The SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association) is a charity who work to ensure the needs of the Armed Forces veterans and their families are met. They relieve the need, suffering and distress of veterans and their families and help to support their independence and dignity.

Unforgotten Forces works with other organisations to enhance the support available for veterans over the age of 65, and their families, in Scotland. The group delivers a range of services such as giving advice, access to healthcare, tackling social isolation and respite.

The V1P Lanarkshire team works in partnership with NHS Lanarkshire, The Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) and The Lanarkshire Association for Mental Health (LAMH).
