Garden Assistance Scheme
The Garden Assistance Scheme provides a basic garden service to council tenants who cannot maintain their gardens.
The Scheme runs from April to October, but applications can be submitted at any time. If you are elderly or disabled and qualify for the scheme, arrangements can be made to help maintain your garden. This includes cutting your grass or trimming any hedges in your garden. You may not be eligible if you have someone living with you or a family member who is able to help with basic gardening duties.
